About Me
Born (12 December 1977) and raised in Johannesburg
Mbali’s father was an educator with a Master degree in Education, he later become a policy maker at the Department of Education. Her mother holds a Masters degree in Social Worker and she is an entrepreneur, who established a company that employed over 30 people.
She is currently studying towards her MBA, while she was doing her first degree, her entrepreneurial skills kicked in when she established and ran her first company, Ants World. After her tertiary education, she established Talent Pool, a recruitment agency. She then studied further to obtain certificates in facilitation, and as an assessor and moderator. And over and above, this unstoppable force then established a medical tourism solutions company for high profiled clients around the world, now already 15 years in existence. This enabled her, together with her international modelling career, to travel extensively globally – something that enriched her life in many ways.

But don’t for a second think that it all ends there. Not a chance when you are Mbali Mkhize. She shares: “I’m about to launch Venice Swimwear (high end luxury swimwear), with the aim to sell online with shops around the USA and South Africa. We’ve already signed up Ms Australia, Ms Thailand and a finalist of Mr USA as our ambassadors.”
“Passion is energy. Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.”

April 2019 she also launched a beauty product label called MM Beauty. She co-owns this company with her mother. This journey actually began with her own skin and health – she has been a firm believer that whatever we eat affects our health. With this in mind, She wanted to formulate a perfect collagen drink that will not only reverse the ageing process, but would also give one a radiating, youthful skin, brightens the eyes, grow one’s hair and reduces cellulite.

And on top if it all, Mbali is also a founding member and co-director of the SB Mkhize Foundation; running its public engagement campaign – which focuses on changing vulnerable children’s futures.
